WELCOME

Hello! I’m Laura, a Technician and Producer based in the East Midlands. You can also find me doing some digital design and marketing work too.
I am most experienced with black box productions having worked on shows for the Edinburgh fringe, pub theatres and from being a very active member of Nottingham University's student theatre. I am currently producing a piece of verbatim, feminist theatre called It’s Not Rocket Science that is touring to the Edinburgh Fringe and other fringe festivals this summer.
My career in theatre began in 2018 when I first went to the Edinburgh Fringe as the Technical Manager with two shows that ran for the full month of August. Prior to this, I produced five shows as a student with the Nottingham New Theatre, and worked as a technician on many others. Since 2018, I have returned to the Edinburgh fringe to work as a technician for Paradise Green and am a casual technician for Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall and Nonsuch Studios in Nottingham. In 2020, I co-founded Phone Box Theatre Company with two of my friends, and with them I have produced two digital shows through the lockdown and one in-person show that was performed in London in June 2021. This led to me also producing It's Not Rocket Science for Letter For Letter Theatre in 2022. I am also currently a full-time technician at Nottingham Playhouse.
I am always looking to connect with people with similar interests or projects I could get involved with – if this is you, please feel free to get in touch!

It's Not Rocket Science
Earth is a man's world. Space shouldn't be too.
Eve always knew she belonged in the stars, but those on Earth keep bringing her down. Watch her grow up and grow wiser about how rocket science is the easy part, but being treated equally isn’t. This piece of verbatim theatre uses interviews from over 20 female aerospace professionals and presents their experiences navigating this male-dominated industry.
