I am an emerging Producer in the East Midlands and have produced shows for Letter for Letter Theatre, Phone Box Theatre Company and the Nottingham New Theatre. I enjoy working on shows that use non-traditional story-telling techniques to connect with an audience. In 2020 I co-founded Phone Box Theatre Company to create opportunities for myself to produce the type of theatre I really enjoy, and this has led to me now producing It's Not Rocket Science with Letter For Letter Theatre. Securing the role of Arts Administration Assistant after university gave me a strong foundation in organising the logistics around shows which has been crucial to my development as a producer.
I am also a full-time marketer and have been doing this since 2019 when I secured the position of Interim Digital Marketing Assistant at Lakeside Arts. Following this position I became the Marketing Assistant for Derby LIVE and In Derby, the Culture and Leisure branches of Derby City Council, and then in 2021 I moved to Aakash Odedra Company to be their Marketing Officer.
Through my roles as a Marketer, I developed a love for digital design, and so have begun offering my services as a designer to companies wanting print or digital assets creating. When I co-founded Phone Box Theatre, I was responsible for creating and developing our brand assets including a logo and branding guidelines also.
I also enjoy other aspects of backstage theatre, and am a freelance technicians at multiple venues around Nottingham, including Theatre Royal & Royal Concert Hall and Nonsuch Studios. I have also been to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as both a show technician and a venue technician. I am trained on Eos lighting software and Qlab to programme and operate light, sound and videos for shows, and have experience rigging equipment and constructing set pieces and theatre scaffolding.
